Marc is a surfer and the Professor of Surf Engineering and Science at the University of Wollongong (Australia). He teaches chemistry through the lens of surfing.

Pawel Krzyzanowski
Pawel is our Chief Engineer, an aspiring surfer/foiler and a mechatronic engineer by training, (and a legend with CAD).
Magda Krzyzanowska
Magda is our photojournalist, science communicator and designer by training, with a passion for documenting and sharing our research through photography, video and writing.
Julien Greey
Julien deals with the electronics side of our projects, putting brains into boards.

Jackson McKenzie
Jackson likes chasing waves - the bigger the better! When he is not studying mechanical engineering, or playing guitar or chasing waves you can find him in the lab!
Alfonso Sanchez-Quinones Serina
Alfonso is a surfer, a Spanish Engineer and was with us for most of 2023.
He is currently taking a break from the lab and surfing his way around Australian and Indonesia.
He will be back soon
